CONDITIONS

Under the aegis of ACSI Ciclismo GK22 SSD a r.l. arranges on Sunday 5th June 2022, in Riccione (RN), Italy, the sports event Ride Riccione
1. PARTICIPATION
1.1 Participation is permitted with any kind of bicycle (racing, cyclotouristic, electric, gravel bike, tandem, mountain bike, recumbent, handbike).
The participation request can be submitted, according to the forms prepared, by the following cyclists of both genders:
a) ITALIAN REGISTERED ATHLETES, between the age of 16 and 80 years, with a card valid for the year 2022 issued by ACSI Ciclismo, F.C.I. or by the Institutions partnered with the aforementioned or with Bike Card and approved by C.O.N.I., and only if in possession of a medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, as per art. 4 of D.M. 16/24.04.2013.
b) FOREIGN REGISTERED ATHLETES, between the age of 16 and 80 years, with a license valid for the current year, issued by their own national cycling federation, and only if in possession of a medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, as per art. 4 of D.M. 16/24.04.2013 (see facsimile).
c) ITALIAN REGISTERED CYCLOTOURISTS must obligatorily attach to their subscription the copy of a medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, as per art. 4 of D.M. 16/24.04.2013; the mentioned documents must be handed in their original format when collecting the technical envelope and race packet.
The certificate must not be more than one year antecedent than the event the submitter wishes to take part in. Otherwise, participation will not be permitted.
d) ITALIAN AND FOREIGN ATHLETES NON-REGISTERED with any Society and/or Sports Club and registered athletes without U.C.I. license, between the age of 16 and 80 years, in order to participate must obligatorily pay, besides the participation rate, a surcharge of € 10,00 for the multirisk + RCT insurance (see policy) valid exclusively for the event duration and non-refundable in case of non-participation.
1.2 It is forbidden to have multiple registrations with ACSI Ciclismo, F.C.I. and with one or more Sports Promotion Institutions or a foreign Federation.
1.3 It is mandatory, for the non-registered Italian and foreign athletes, when submitting online the participation request, to attach the copy of an idendity document – to be exibited when collecting the technical envelope and the race packet – currently valid on the national territory, as per art. 38 of D.P.R. 44/2000, and besides the non-registered athletes, the Italian cyclotourits and the foreign registered athletes without U.C.I. license must attach – end exibit on site a medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, as per art. 4 of D.M. 16/24.04.2013.
The certificate must not be more than one year antecedent than the event the submitter wishes to take part in. Otherwise, participation will not be permitted.
1.4 Athletes as per art. 3.7 and 4 of the Technical Regulation 2021 issued by ACSI Ciclismo cannot submit a participation request.

2. FURTHER OBLIGATIONS REGARDING THE REGISTRATION REQUEST
2.1 By filing the subscription request or by paying the registration rate, every and each participant undertakes the observance of the following Conditions, as well as keepeing a careful and safe attitude during the event.
Furthermore, the participants declare and confirm that:
a) they have a currently valid medical certificate suitable for competitive cycling sports practice, and they exempt the event organizer of any responsibility;
b) that they have read the participants privacy policy and consent to the treatment of specific data in order to finalize the pre-contractual and contractual steps. They also consent to the use of audio, video and photograph recording realized during Ride Riccione and/or Ride Riccione Week for marketing, documentary, archive porpuses with indefinite validity;
c) to be aware that taking part in Ride Riccione 200 is a potentially risky activity and to take responsibility for all the dangers reulting from the participation such as: sickness, falling, contacts and/or crashes with vehicoles, other participants, attendants and/or others for accidents injurious to safety, which might take place also due to the weather conditions, the traffic entity and/or the state of road surface;
d) to be aware that the organizer cannot be held responsible of any vandalism, theft, injurious events of any kind that the participants might suffer by anyone during the different phases of the event, keeping the custody duty of any object to the single participant;
e) therefore to exempt the organizer, the volunteers and all the staff members from any responsibility, no exceptions, for any damage occurred during the event as a direct and/or indirect consequence of statements, facts, cirumstances or physical states accountable to a violation of these Conditions committed by oneself, other participants and/or circumstances outside the event;
f) to accept the unquestionable decision of non admittance, exclusion and/or disqualification and/or decline, issued by the organizer in the cases foreseen by these Conditions.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION
3.1 Registrations can be filed exclusively on the Endy website at the official page for Ride Riccione 2022 REGISTER NOW, filling in the admission request with payment via: credit card, Satispay, bank transfer and attaching, where demanded, the documents as seen at the article n. 1 of these Conditions. For everyone who will register within 31st March, it will possible to receive the race number personalized with your full name.
3.2 The organizer hold the capability, to its own unquestionable decision, to not accept the participants who have submitted the registration to the event. All the athletes who have suffered convictions for sports doping will not be admitted. In this case, the rate will be refund.
3.3 Athletes as per art. 3.7 and 4 of the Technical Regulation 2022 issued by ACSI Ciclismo are not admitted, and the registration is declined for those who are sanctioned by the ordinary and/or sports law.
3.4 Subscriptions open on Wednesday 16 February at 12 pm and different ascending price steps are scheduled (they will be periodically notified on this website and on our social networks).

It is possible to check the registration acceptance on the website Endu, at the official Ride Riccione 2022 page, within 5 working days since the inquiry.
3.5 the subscription request must be forwarded attaching:
FOR ITALIAN REGISTERESD CYCLOTURISTS, a copy of the medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, currently valid, to be handed in its original format when collecting the tecnichal envelope and race packet. Otherwise, participation will not be permitted.
FOR FOREIGNER REGISTERED ATHLETES, NOT in possess of a U.C.I. license, a copy of the medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, currently valid, to be handed in its original format when collecting the tecnichal envelope and race packet. Otherwise, participation will not be permitted.
FOR NON-REGISTERED ATHLETES, BOTH ITALIAN AND FOREIGNER, a copy of an idendity document, currently valid on the national territory as per art. 38 D.P.R. 445/2000 and the medical certificate suitable for competitive sports practice, currently valid.
Both documents have to be handed in their original format when collecting the tecnichal envelope and race packet. Otherwise, participation will not be permitted.
3.6 The online subscriptions, both for ITALIAN and FOREIGNER candidates, must be paid with one of the following methods: credit card, Satispay, bank transfer filling the requested fields.
4. PARTICIPATION RATE
4.1. The participation rates are scheduled as follows:
- FIRST ROUND from 16 to 28 February 2022 | Euro 60,00 plus transaction fees
- SECOND ROUND from 1 to 31 March 2022| Euro 69,00 plus transaction fees
- THIRD ROUND from 1 April to 31 May 2022 | Euro 79,00 plus transaction fees
- LAST MINUTE and ON SITE | Euro 89,00 plus transaction fees
For those who purchase the REGISTRATION + HOTEL package, the rate will always be stuck at the PROMO price of Euro 60,00.
The following payment methods are admitted: credit card, Paypal, Satispay, bank transfer.
ITALIAN AND FOREIGN ATHLETES NON-REGISTERED with any Society and/or Sports Club and registered athletes without U.C.I. license, in order to participate must obligatorily pay, besides the participation rate, a surcharge of € 10,00 for the insurance activation as per the race conditions.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THE RACE ON SUNDAY 5 JUNE, NOR IT IS ALLOWED TO COLLECT THE TECHNICAL ENVELOPE AND RACE PACKET. ONLY CHIPS COLLECTION IS ALLOWED ON THE RACE DAY, FROM 6 TO 6:30 AM.
4.2. The participation rate includes:
- technical envelope with race number for the bicyle, bib with race number and their pins and ties;
- timing service;
- race packet;
- Finisher medal at the arrival;
- medical assistance;
- technical and mechanical assistance (replacements excluded);
- street safety service;
- refreshment points along the race courses;
- party at the arrival.
4.3. In case a subscriber is unable to take part in the race, their participation rate will not be refunded.
Upon notice within 30 April 2022, the subscription will be considered valid for the eventual next edition. This option is not available for the cumulative subscribers. The registration can be postponed for one year only and is strictly nominal.
It is possible, onsite too, to replace a contestant upon a charge of Euro 10,00 as secretariat fees.
5. TECHNICAL ENVELOPE AND RACE PACKET COLLECTION
5.1 Every participant must show up at the race office inside the Ride Village in Piazzale Roma – Riccione:
- Friday 3 June 2022 from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm
- Saturday 4 June 2022 from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm
with the requested documents according to their category (see previous paragraphs).
The technical envelope and the race packet cannot be collected on Sunday 5 June: chips can be collected on 5 June from 6 to 6:30 am.
The participants who stay in a partner hotel will find their race packet directly at the hotel.
5.2 The technical envelope contains the number flyer for the bicycle and the bib, together with pins and ties, and documents with the main information needed to take part in the race.
The technical envelope is strictly personal and cannot be given to third parties, under penalty of immediate exclusion from the event.
It is not allowed to shrink, cut and/or hide eventual brands printed on the race number.
5.3 The participants will also recieve the ticket to access the refreshment area for the final party, available from 10 am to 3 pm at the arrival area in Parco della Resistenza – Riccione.
Those who do not have a free ticket and/or eventual companions can only access the service upon the payment of 5,00 Euro per person.
Children and teens under 18 years of age can access the service if accompanied by a parent or an adult.
6. START AND GRIDS
6.1 Access to the start grid will be allowed from 6.00 to 6.45 am in Via Einaudi – Riccione, through the control gates set by the organizer.
The event organizer holds the faculty to disqualify anyone who does not respect the opening and closing time of the gate and/or does not respect the staff dispositions.

- Medium course (Middle Ride): km 107 – drop 1860 m
It is mandatory to wear the official event t-shirt in order to access the grid.
6.2 The grid access must follow the scheduled numbering: eventual grid appropriations will be punished with the disqualification too.

Amateurs
At the entrance of every grid you will find the numbers who are located inside it.
6.2 Refreshments: the athletes who want to access the refreshment points along the course must stop and get off their bicycle.
7. TIMING
7.1 The timing will be registered by a MySDAM Official Timer, using a technology based on using “chips”.
Every participant must have their own personal valid chip, or a daily rented chip.
ALLOWED CHIPS:
- personal My SDAM A-CHIP (round shaped and green colored) with “Cycling and MTB 2021” license;
- personal CHAMPIONCHIP YELLOW CHIP (round shaped and yellow colored)
- rented DAILY My SDAM CHIP
PLEASE NOTE:
- please specify your personal chip number in the registration form;
- chips and/or related licenses can purchased on the website endu.net or at the “Chip Point” of the race;
- the daily chip can only be rented at the race’s Chip Point for the price of 5.00 € per day, with a deposit of 10.00 €.
The deposit, except the rent price, will be returned when the chip is given back at the Chip Point, within 15 minutes since the race end. - Prices and updated conditions about chips can be found on MySDAM website at https://shop.endu.net/home.
BlueChips and any kind of chip not explicitly mentioned cannot be used for the race.
The missing or wrong usage of the CHIP will result in being excluded from the rank and not having the timing awarding.
7.2 Timing-registered tracks:
• Mercatino Conca – Montecerignone (all courses) length8,6 kms with medium slope of 2,5%
• Cippo Carpegna (Ride course only) length 5,3 kms with medium slope of 10,2%
• Soanne (Ride course only) length 4,8 kms with a medium slope of 6,8%
• Ca’ Micci (all courses) length 3 kms with medium slope of 8,3%
• Crono del Marano (all courses) length 5 kms, no slope
8. CHARTS AND AWARD CEREMONY
8.1 The individual category ranking is drawn up in alphabetical order according to the sum of the times established in Real Time, exclusively in the timed sections provided and marked along the race route. It will still be possible to see the time spent in each single stretch and on the entire race course, with the position of category and absolute, but not for the purposes of the ranking.
They will fall in the rankings related to the ACSI Cycling categories, all participants according to the following table:

8.2 Will be awarded at the same time the first classified of each category based on the sum of the times established in Real Time, exclusively in the timed sections provided and marked along the race route.
Participants with e-bike will not be included in the individual category classification.
8.3 The team ranking rewards the group of men and women, registered with the same team, which with the greatest number of participants (minimum 10) will pass on arrival within 30″ between the first and the last of its members, within the maximum time of departure.
This group will receive the trophy as the winner of the ranking. The next two teams will receive prizes to withdraw.
In the case of teams that within 30″ have placed the same number of competitors, the team that has made the shortest time on the entire race path will prevail.
8.4 The ranking “Piutost che Gnint” rewards the group of men and women, registered with the same team, which will record the worst result in the average distance of timed sections. This average will be calculated by adding the average distance of the timed climbs made by the 10 members of each team who have achieved the worst result.
8.5 The ranking “Sbudellata” rewards the group of men and women, registered with the same team, which will achieve the best time on the entire route of Ride (km 140,7). The group must be composed of (minimum 5) participants who will pass on arrival within 30″ between the first and the fifth of their members.
8.6 The Teams, Piutost che Gnint and Sbudellata rankings do not preclude the possibility for each individual participant to compete for the Individual Category ranking.
8.7 Each team registered at Ride Riccione can choose to take part in all the rankings while always respecting the minimum number of participants according to what is provided by each individual ranking.
8.8 The Individual ranking will be presented only with the first of each category, while the Teams ranking, Piutost that gnint and Sbudellata, only with the first five teams .
The complete rankings will be available online from 16.00 on the Endu portal to the official page of the Ride Riccione 2022. The Individual Category Ranking will be completed also with the time spent by the participants in each single climb and on the entire race path, with the category position and absolute, but not for the purposes of the ranking.
8.9 A special prize will be awarded:
– to foreign competitors from further afield
– to the youngest competitor (for the same day, the time and date of the previous entrant will be taken into account)
– the fastest competitor on the climb to Cippo Carpegna
– the fastest competitor in the Marano Crono
– to the first ACSI member
– to the competitor with the most funny helmet
8.10 If there are more than one competitor from the same place, the prize will be awarded to the oldest participant, or to a woman, if the same age.
8.11 The organizer reserves the right not to deliver the prizes to third parties and / or not to send them home, believing that they must be assigned exclusively on the day of the race in the manner and at the established times.
9. STREET REGULATIONS AND FURTHER BEHAVIOUR RULES
9.1 The vehicular traffic during the event is temporarily suspended between the start car and the end of the cycling race.
Participants must, however, proceed with extreme caution observing the necessary precautions, because, without knowing the organization and/ or for facts unrelated to the event and/or for unforeseeable situations caused by third parties for non-compliance with the provisions in force, or for the misinformation of road users, there may be risks for the safety of the participants even during the suspension of vehicle traffic between the cars of the beginning and end of the cycling race. In such cases, the organizer is deemed to be exempted from any liability.
9.2 Competitors who will be overtaken by the car at the end of the race will have to continue the race outside the race, following the rules of the road under their own responsibility.
9.3 È obbligatorio mantenere il numero sulla bici fino alla conclusione della manifestazione.
9.4 It is mandatory to use the approved protective helmet to be worn from the entrance to the grid until the end of the event.
9.5 As far as not covered by these Regulations, please refer to the application of that of ACSI Cycling for the performance of amateur cycling and cycling tourism activities to which all participants are required.
9.6 Participants will also be required to respect the state of the places and not to throw waste along the streets, having to store them in the appropriate containers at refreshment places. Competitors who do not respect the status of the places and/or who throw garbage outside the marked spaces and/or who do not adhere to a correct and/or civil behaviour during the event will be immediately disqualified.
9.7 In order to ensure the success of the event, it is forbidden to assist by private vehicles (scooters, motorcycles, cars, etc.), including mechanical assistance (already arranged by the organizer) following the race or simply on the roadside, Penalty immediate exclusion from the event of the participant to which will be found unauthorized persons.
9.8 Sono previsti automezzi “scopa” adibiti al recupero dei partecipanti ed al lavoro di trasporto alla zona di arrivo per tutti coloro che, per qualsiasi motivo, non dovessero terminare il percorso di gara previsto.
10. HEALTH SERVICE
10.1 Health service is provided both on the move, following the race, and set on fixed locations marked along the race route.
10.2 At Parco della Resistenza, in Riccione, will be set up the P.M.A. (Postazione Medica Avanzata – Advanced Medical Post).
10.3 In any circumstances, the event organizer is not accountable for any intervention and/or decision taken by the health service staff.
11. MECHANICAL SERVICE
11.1 Mechanical service is provided both on the move, following the race, and set on fixed locations marked along the race route. Spare parts are not included in the service.
11.2 In any circumstances, the event organizer is not accountable for any intervention and/or decision taken by the mechanical service staff.
12. SHOWERS AND TOILETS
Showers and toilets will be available on Sunday 5 June from 11 am to 3 pm, near the arrival area.
13. EVENT CANCELLATION
Cases of cancellation or suspension of the event:
1. The cases of impossibility of carrying out the event that result in its cancellation shall be cases of force majeure, unforeseeable circumstances, or any other kind not attributable to the organisation, such as:
to. Weather events such as, but not limited to, snow, hail, storms, road ice formation or other weather conditions that render the operation impracticable;
b. Disasters such as, but not limited to, earthquakes, floods, large-scale fires, pandemics, natural or man-made disasters;
c. An adverse event against one or more participants;
d. Provision or disposition of the Public Authority, or of bodies promoting cycling or sports federations;
e. Any other cause or event, not attributable to the Organizer, which makes it necessary to cancel the event.
2. Cause or event not attributable to the Organizer shall be deemed to be any fact or event, of natural origin, or determined by man, which is not due to malice or fault of the Organizer or, however, at the occurrence of which the Organizer did not intentionally or negligently contest.
3. The cancellation of the event shall be communicated by the Organizer by email, the address of which has been made known at the time of registration, or even only through the social channels, as soon as possible, in order to allow members a timely knowledge and to avoid as much as possible any discomfort.
4. Where this is possible and in the absence of risk conditions, the Organizer will order the postponement of the event to another date, giving timely notice to members.
5. The Organizer, however, remains free, if the concrete conditions permit, to allow the event to take place by changing the planned route, in order to avoid dangerous situations for the runners.
6. In case of impossibility of carrying out the event, for the reasons mentioned in the previous paragraphs, no amount will be due in return to the members.

16. FINAL ADVICES
As far as not covered by these Regulations, the Technical Amateur and Cycling Tourist ACSI Cycling 2022.
The organizer reserves the right, for reasons that it deems appropriate, to modify these Regulations at any time. Any changes to services, places and/ or times will be communicated by email to the participants and/ or reported on the official website of Ride Riccione.
